As an media artist my work investigates how technology, creativity, society and economy can powerfully transform one another. Central to my practice is the idea that technological invention is intrinsic the human desire to expand the body (and mind) and self expression. I am exploring these ideas by using expanded body-sensory techniques and mind expansion with self-made electronics or coding. To open the black box for me is a gesture of self-empowerment - DIY Ethos is a critical position in my efforts to create beauty and meaning as asks questions of our consumerist economy and throwaway society. In my compositions time and space is included as an expanding element to improve common listening habits and explore the borders of musical and spatial representation.
